Our Personal Care Essentials team provides respectful hands‑on help with bathing, grooming, shaving with an electric or safety razor, dressing and undressing, toileting, incontinence support, oral hygiene, basic hair care, nail soaking and filing, and safe feeding assistance.
All care is delivered only on unbroken skin and always positions clients upright for safety when eating or brushing teeth, precisely as Colorado regulations require

- General skin care on unbroken skin: apply non‑medicated lotions & solutions
- Bathing assistance in tub, shower, or bed
- Hair care: shampoo (non‑prescription), towel/air drying, combing & styling
- Grooming & shaving with an electric or safety razor
- Dressing & undressing, plus help with non‑prescription support stockings
- Toileting: escort to bathroom, bedpans, urinals, commodes, pericare, pad changes
- Incontinence management & clothing changes
- Mouth & denture care, upright positioning for oral hygiene
- Feeding assistance for clients who can chew & swallow independently
- Nail care: soak, gently push back cuticles (no tools), file nails
- Empty external urinary‑collection bags & ostomy pouches as directed
- Protective oversight while performing any of the above

Yes—PCWs assist with bathing on unbroken skin, toileting, pericare, and clothing or pad changes, always preserving dignity and privacy.
Medication administration is classified as skilled nursing. We remind clients to take pre‑filled doses and coordinate a nurse for any fills, injections, or changes.
