Falls are the number‑one reason older adults lose independence.
Our Mobility & Safe Movement program pairs trained Personal Care Workers (PCWs) with clients to provide ambulation assistance, walker or cane support, stand‑by balance protection, transfer help from bed or chair, wheelchair positioning, and gentle exercise encouragement—all tasks explicitly permitted for Colorado PCWs

Services
- Ambulation assistance for clients who can balance & bear weight, with or without devices
- Safe transfers between bed, chair, toilet, or vehicle—client must assist
- Use of lift, gait belt, grab bars, or tub seat after both client & caregiver are trained
- Simple positioning & alignment in bed, wheelchair, or recliner
- Exercise encouragement: remind or cue client‑led routines; promote normal movement during daily tasks
- Stand‑by balance protection & fall‑prevention monitoring
Not included
Passive range‑of‑motion therapy, lifting consumers who cannot bear weight, any exercise plan prescribed by a licensed clinician.
PCWs assist only when the client can bear some weight and help guide the transfer. For full lifts, we partner with licensed therapists or bring in a mechanical lift team.
We cue and encourage physician‑approved exercises but cannot perform passive range‑of‑motion therapy or design clinical programs.
